Head gaskets
If your car is losing antifreeze and overheating with no sign of leaking coolant, you might need your head gaskets repaired.
Intake gaskets
A gasket is a seal situated in between certain engine parts. The intake gaskets sit in between the cylinder head and the intake manifold. The intake manifold is responsible for delivering a mixture of air and fuel to the cylinders.
Signs you need your intake gaskets repaired:
- Coolant leaking
- Engine overheating
- Engine stalling
- Loss of acceleration
- Poor fuel economy
Timing chains
A timing belt (also called a timing chain or cambelt) is part of the internal combustion engine that makes the engine’s valves open and close at the proper time.
Fuel systems
The fuel intake system and the fuel injectors deliver the fuel to the engine. Located in the fuel tank, the fuel pump pumps fuel to the engine. A fuel filter filters out dirt before the fuel reaches the engine.
The fuel filter catches dirt and contaminants. When clogged, your engine might sputter. This means it’s time to get the build-up cleaned out. Neglecting this will cause the injectors to wear out quicker than they would have otherwise.
PRO TIP: Use top-tier gas so fewer contaminants and more detergents enter your system.
